Watershed Management: Proceedings of the Third International Conference, December 11-14, 2001, National Taiwan University,Taipei, Taiwan

The conference was successful in meeting its objective of gathering water management experts from the United States, Japan, and Taiwan to discuss water supply and water pollution issues in a sustainable context. The issues are of critical importance not only to Taiwan, but countries throughout the Pacific Rim. More than twenty-five papers were presented by invited speakers on subjects such as new technologies for erosion and sediment control, non-point source and urban stormwater pollution reduction, and hazard mitigation.
