Universal Citation Guide

This is the second edition of the AALL Universal CitationGuide (UCG). It is intended to provide guidance andsuggestions for courts, practitioners and others onrecommended methods of formatting and using universalcitations to legal material in legal and law relateddocuments. The book itself consists of chapters on therecommended citation of judicial opinions, constitutions,statutes, court rules, administrative regulations anddecisions, and law reviews. There are also appendices ofrecommended abbreviations. It is also significant that theUCG is specifically intended to complement, but not replaceexisting legal citation manuals (i.e. The Bluebook or theALWD Manual).
