Then when you hear the clang of the next street car you get back on. You ride down to where you see Loyola and Tulane Universities. Across the street is Audubon Park. Again you get off and walk the short blocks until you reach the Audubon Zoo, now considered one of finest zoos in America. You spend some time at the zoo going through the various exhibits. You are getting somewhat tired so you take the train that gives you a look at the entire zoo. Then you walk a few blocks to the Mississippi River where you catch the zoo boat that will take you back to Canal Street. Now you are in walking distance of the wonderful Aquarium of the Americas. You spend over an hour looking at every type of fish found in the gulf and surrounding areas, including sharks. . You're still not too tired, so you take a take a cab to the lakefront. It costs over twenty dollars, but it was worth it, You eat at one of the restaurants in Bucktown that has a view of the lake Pontchartrain It 's now getting dusk. There are a few sailboat and motorboats in the lake and two yachts that are coming in for the night. You watch the moon rise over the lake for a spectacular view asthe lake waters seem to change colors. Now it's time for you to make your way back to the hotel so you can rest for an hour or so, then make your way down Bourbon Street so you can enjoy the nightlife of New Orleans.
