Julia Miles is the Founder and Artistic Director of Women's Project & Productions, which has produced 111 plays and over 400 readings and workshops by women playwrights. In the early 1960s, Miles co-founded Theatre Current in Brooklyn Heights and later became Associate Director of The American Place Theatre. She has co-produced off-Broadway productions, including Elaine May's Not Enough Rope.
