Holly Asthon's lifelong fascination with the sea resulted in a career as an international seafood broker. A partnership, HBA (Hice, Brooks & Associates) was formed between Holly Brooks and Jack Hice,the founder and President of Seapak and Carnation Seafood. Together they added to his many patents and innovations of food processing equipment, which included fish sticks, flash freezing and the injection molding of food. During her time in the seafood industry, Holly learned all aspects of the business, from processing to sales to advertising, with clients scattered about the globe from Georgia to Alaska and India.Holly retired from corporate life in 1989, opting to pursue another passion - writing.
