The Nine Pillars of History: Also a Guide for Peace

John Locke (1632-1704), the English physician and author of government theories, postulated that people from the early H/G period had an informal contract of representation with their leaders but that the power to decide always stayed with the people. I asked myself if more could be learned with the modern knowledge of the H/G time. I started to study history based on genetic evidences. Here my medical background could complement my interest in history. Genetic evidence provides new tools of the study of the early hunting and gathering (H/G) period. John Rick, the Chairperson for the Anthropological Science Department at Stanford University in California directed my curiosity to good resources of the H/G period and also edited my interpretation. The human species, Homo sapiens, once genetically established 200,000 years ago, has physiologically changed very little throughout its history. An analysis of which needs for the Homo sapiens appeared very early would point to which needs are essential for humanity. Nine needs are identified from the first 190,000 years long (H/G) time. How these needs faired in different historical ipoques would demonstrate their pertinence. Early in history some of the needs were just preferences but as societies grew in the agricultural time and further in multicultural large industrial societies these needs become more than preferences, they become necessary pillars for humanity. After the nine pillars had been identified in the H/G time it became clear, that history could be divided into just three time periods. Each time period is based on the main means of food transport: a hand transport during the H/G time, an animal transport during the agriculturaltime, and an engine transport the industrial time. Each period offers fundamentally different possibilities for human survival. The Nine Pillars of Humanity recognizes two types of government leaderships, democratic and Sumerian type.
