Schuler and his wife, Kimberly Heinrichs, live with their three children in Allentown, Pennsylvania. Jeff Volek, R.D., Ph.D., C.S.C.S., a professor attached to the acclaimed Human Performance Laboratory at the University of Connecticut, has published often on fitness and athletic performance. While at Ball State University in Indiana, Dr. Volek was among the first researchers to uncover and study the link between diet and testosterone. He lives in Manchester, Connecticut. Michael Mejia, C.S.C.S., has been a personal trainer in New York City since 1993, working with a clientele that ranges from elite athletes to corporate CEOs. He writes often on fitness and is a contributing editor and exercise advisor to Men's Health. Mejia and his wife, Michelle, live with their two children in Plainview, Long Island.
