Tactical Interoperable Communications Scorecards : Summary Report and Findings

The Tactical Interoperable Communications (TIC) Scorecard, developed by the Dept. of Homeland Security (DHS), assesses the maturity of TIC capabilities in 75 urban/metro. areas. These scorecards were developed by subject matter expert panels that reviewed documentation on current commun. plans, exercises, & a self-assessment to arrive at consensus findings & recommendations for each region on how to best improve that region¿s TIC capabilities. These scorecards & the recommendations included are being distributed directly to each of the urban/metro. areas to focus their regional efforts to improve TIC. DHS is using these scorecards to focus technical assistance programs & target specific areas of improvement in TIC.
