Robert Reid is a short story writer, an essayist and a playwright. He has published in The Literary Journal of Long Island University, Eratica, Poems and Plays, International Third World Studies Journal and Review, American Culture and Literature, The Prague Revue, the Southern Quarterly, the CLA Journal, The Literary Journal of The National Cheng Kung, and the Potomac Review. His short fiction has been published in two former releases by Red Hen Press including The Crucifix is Down and Fake City Symptom: American Cultural Essays. Over the course of his career Reid has taught at Tennessee Wesleyan College, Bilkent University in Turkey, King Saud University in Saudi Arabia, The University of Guam and the University of Kentucky. He lives in Al-Ain and works at the United Arab Emirates University.
