State of the World's Children, 1986

The annual message from the Executive Directory of UNICEF has become the most widely read and written about of all UN reports on world development. Bringing together the worldwide experience of its own staff and the contributions of leading international specialists in child health and nutrition, the report argues that rates of child deaths and disability in the developing world could now be reduced by half using a combination of low-cost and already available methods.
