Sherry Bond runs her own country music publishing company in Nashville, specializing in the new Americana radio format and traditional country songs. A Nashville native, she grew up in the country music business. She began her music career by taking over the copyright and royalty administration for the music publishing companies of her father, artist/writer Johnny Bond, and the legendary Tex Ritter. Her songs have been recorded by Johnny Cash and Lyle Lovett. She has headed the Nashville Entertainment Association and the Nashville area Chamber of Commerce's arts, entertainment, and music department.
