Pirate of Smith Point Beach

On the Long Island coast, Smith Point Beach overlooks a part of the ocean called Shipwreck Valley. For centuries, ships have gone down there, lives have been lost, and treasures have sunk to the bottom of the sea. Twelve-year-old Matthew Kirby sets off down the beach one fall morning after a fierce storm.
