The only extant residence of William Penn, Pennsbury interprets to the visitor the lifestyle of William Penn, his family, & the Quaker colonists who staffed the plantation. There are 17th century gardens, orchards, & a variety of domestic animals. All the recipes in this book have been adapted from the recipes of Gulielma Penn, the wife of William Penn, for use in the 20th cent.
