This non-fiction book is essentially a travelogue about Southeast Asia, the South Pacific, and Hawaii. It’s also the story of the author’s 23,000-mile, forty-day odyssey from Iran when the Ayatollah Khomeini Islamic Revolution prevented him from returning to his year-long home in Tehran while on vacation in Southeast Asia. The elements of history and culture of the regions visited, and many personal anecdotes, should provide readers with entertainment and present an educational perspective. A chapter of the book is dedicated to each location the author visited.
