Ocean Waves and Oscillating Systems: Linear Interactions Including Wave-Energy Extraction

Johannes Falnes is Professor of Experimental Physics at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology NTNU, where he has taught since 1965. His main research interests included initially plasma physics and solid-state electronics. More recently, however, his primary interest has been power from ocean waves, a subject within which he has had a renowned name since the late 1970s.
