Hanne has been working with troubled teens since 1981. Born and raised in Denmark, she came to the United States as a college student and stayed because of her call to work with at risk youth. Hanne and her husband, Scott, co-founded Straight Ahead Ministries to reach kids in juvenile detention centers. In 1991, they opened a home for boys coming out of lock-up.
