At the time of the first writing of this book (1994), it was the only dissertation on the etiotropic approach to the substrate of psychological trauma, also known as Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). It still was the only one when the thesis was published as an ebook in 2003, defining the etiology of trauma as occurring in the changes to long term postentiation (LTP) and long term depression of the synapse holding the memory of the identity existing prior to the trauma causing event. It places the substrate of memory into extinction. Reversal of trauma etiology is the culmination of the extinction process. The substrate of the symptoms of PTSD, existing in the Noradrenergic system, facilitates the morphilogical changes occurring in the neuron maintaining the synapse holding the memory of identity. The manifestation of this change is grief. Hence, this ebook includes a description of the substrate of grief and loss.Collins, Jesse is the author of 'Neurobiology of Psychological Trauma Etiology and Its Reversal with Etiotropic Trauma Management', published 1994 under ISBN 9780976893417 and ISBN 097689341X.
