In 1919 a group of men barely out of their teens, poorly armed, and without money or training, renewed the fight to drive the British out of Ireland. When the Treaty in 1921 failed to bring complete separation from Britain, and Civil War loomed, Dan was in San Francisco. He had a premonition that he was going back to meet his death.
