In 1900, when she was twenty-years-old, Letha discovered her biological family, the Corrigans of Cleveland. They were a major force in the development of the iron, steel and shipping industries in Cleveland. In time, she connected with her family, was accepted into the fold and eventually inherited a great deal of money from their estates.
