The purpose of the e-mail conference, organized by the FAO Land and Water Development Division and the International Network on Participatory Irrigation Management with the support of the Ford Foundation, was to provide a global forum to identify and share key issues and lessons gained from experience around the world on tranferring the management of irrigation.
