Inspirational Thoughts from Afar from the Little Scribe

My name is Ronald Bateman. I was born on 3rd June 1925 at Minster, Thanet, Kent, England. When I was about 3 years old my mother died and having no kith and kin, I was put in an orphanage for adoption. The lady who I will always call Mum adopted me and brought me up with all her love and much sacrifice on her part. The debt I owe her I can never repay in this life, but one day I will be able to. Mum died in 1955 after a long illness. It was Mum who took me to Spiritualist churches, and I have remained interested in that movement ever since. So when a medium that I went to see after my life-long friend Brian died told me I was to be a channel for inspirational writing. I accepted without a second thought. This volume is the result of this partnership between 'The Spirit and the Physical'. I am called 'The Little Scribe' and I think the title suits me for that is just what I am.
