I See You, I See Myself The Young Life of Jacob Lawrence

Deba Foxley Leach trained in art history and architecture and had her own art gallery in Washington, D.C. She joined the curatorial staff at The Phillips Collection, Washington, D.C., for the organization of Jacob Lawrence: The Migration Series, an exhibition funded by the National Endowment for the Humanities in 1992. Ms. Leach has designed and conducted art education outreach programs and memoir-writing workshops.
