I Am Not Scared of Halloween

The child in this story is true to character for most children who have ever experienced the joy of trick or treating. He is as brave as we would all like to be throughout each turn of the page. Enjoying a rhyming book with your child is an easy way to speed up the reading process. I am a substitute teacher and Certified Nurse's Assistant by trade and a writer at heart. I have always been one to hang out with the children and entertain them to the best of my ability. Being a mother of four beautiful children, I have always wanted to be a part of a child's learning and intellectual growth. I have written several books that my children, as well as others, have enjoyed for many years. I have always had a dream of being able to share my imagination with as many children as I could reach and making as many people smile as possible. I feel we are all children at heart no matter what age we are. I enjoy reading to children and hope that many parents will enjoy reading my books to their own, bringing a smile to not only Mom and Dad's faces but to the face and heart of a child. I have spent most of my life searching for what it is I should be doing, as many of us do. I have worked many jobs that didn't bring out the child in me. I have written for a newspaper, a radio station and tried my hand at advertising, but nothing has felt as if my heart was in it like writing for children. I hope to succeed in this magical journey that I am beginning and to make a difference in a child's life.
