Hydrodynamic Lubrication

Hydrodynamic lubrication, or the science of fluid film lubrication, is essential in large bearings for steam turbines, in small air-film-lifted magnetic heads for computer storage devices as well, and plays an important role in mechanical engineering, although not many books have been published on the subject.
