Hippo-Not-Amus

Tony and Jan Payne have written several stories and scripts for animated television programs for networks such as the BBC and ITV. Tony also illustrates children's cards and books. They have lived on the Isle of Bute in Scotland and plan to move to a ruined cottage and barn in France. Guy Parker-Rees was born in Zimbabwe and grew up in England. He has illustrated more than forty picture books, including the best-selling Giraffes Can't Dance and Down by the Cool of the Pool by Giles Andreae, and Quiet! by Paul Bright, all three published by Orchard Books.
