Gmat for Dummies

Suzee Vlk "I'm not a complete idiot. Parts of me are missing." Although more likely to admit to being a mortician, used-car salesperson, or guinea pig for Army experiments, Suzee Vlk has been a test-prep specialist since 1975, working her way through graduate business school and law school by teaching courses in GMAT, GRE, LSAT, SAT, and ACT preparation. She found the paranoia and take-no-prisoners mind-set required for doing well on the GMAT a big help in developing cutthroat tactics to use in the boardroom or courtroom. Today Suzee is president of Suzee Vlk Test Prep (no ego involved in that company name!) and has taught thousands of students in dozens of courses at universities and private corporations, including "mature" adults who have been out of school for a decade (or two or three) and international students from countries all over the world. (All victims have, so far, survived.) She has written material used in GMAT and SAT preparation software and videos (starring in one set of videos when she was younger and blonder). Her prep books for the GMAT and other standardized exams have been published worldwide. Suzee currently specializes in one-on-one tutorials and teaches GMAT prep tricks and traps to all levels of students from those who are struggling to remember the basics ("Let's see: A triangle has three sides, or is it four?") to whiz kids who will probably be her boss one day. Her students have not only been accepted at graduate business programs in colleges and universities nationwide, including such dream schools as Harvard and Stanford, but also have done well enough on their GMATs to be awarded scholarships (to the unbounded joy of their parents, who can now spend what's left of their kids' college funds on sailboats, flashy sports cars, and other midlife crisis toys).
