W. Joe Hoppe was born December 24, 1961, one day before Ed Roth picked up a magic marker and drew Rat Fink for the first time on a refrigerator door. Along with his artist wife P.S. Monear, Joe has published about a dozen chapbooks through Lucky Tiger Press. His poems have appeared in the periodicals Analecta, Borderlands, Cider Press Review, Di*Verse*Cities, Nerve Cowboy, and Utter.
