Fabri-Scrapping!

Well, it's finally a reality! This project / book has been with me for over two and a half years...I pushed it away and tried to give it to someone else but it just wouldn't go away. I have known the name for this for the entire time...Fabri-Scrapping! '...I have felt how it should be done and I have lived with it, developing it all this time even while working on so many other things. I truly believe that this will be a wonderful thing for all of us die hard sewers and ?sewists'...and that once we get started, there will be no end to the creative ways that we can use the techniques described herein. All of this couldn't have happened without my dear friend Mandy Arrington from Albuquerque, New Mexico. While staying with her during a stint of teaching at Bob's Discount Sewing, she shared with me her new love of scrapbooking. The pages she had created and the amazing things that she had brought to life were breathtaking. As I looked at the pages...at that moment, Fabri-Scrapping! ? was born. With my mind going a mile a minute...I quickly overwhelmed myself with the sheer magnitude of this idea. Every time I thought about it, I had to take a deep breath and back away from it for a while. This idea would be all encompassing to every aspect of what we do as sewers. Every tool, every product, every embroidery design, every thread, fusible, fabric, ribbon, button, everything, would be able to be used in the production of Fabri-Scrapping! '.In this book you will find the very beginnings of my ideas. There are twelve Fabri-Scrapping!? pages, along with three projects that you can customize using the amazing amount of embroidery designs included on the CD ROM. There are frames in every shape and size for all sizes of hoops...many topical embroidery designs for each project and lots of layout possibilities for you to design your own special creative projects. This is just the beginning of many new and exciting projects and products. Already we have Fabri-Scrapping! ?, volume 2 in the works. There will be books, embroidery designs sets and guest artists to expand on an already popular theme. Believe me, this is just the tip of the iceberg! Once you start, you won't be able to quit!
