Energy Policies of IEA Countries: Hungary Review

This report analyses Hungary's energy sector and policies, and makes recommendations in relations to its general energy policy; energy efficiency, environmental concerns; renewable energy and fossil fuels; nuclear generation; research and development. It finds that Hungary has made remarkable progress in liberalising its energy markets with the aim of achieving a balance between energy security, economic efficiency and environmental protection issues.
