A celebration of baseball, America's national pastime, & the power of the human spirit. Walter Innis, the son of a frustrated & violent fallen baseball star, is unable to let go of his childhood. When local hotshot & former employer of his mother, Henry Truxton III, announces his race for the senate, Walter hatches a scheme with his best friend to vindicate his mother's mysterious death & his father's valueless life.
