Ruth Rogers Clausen is a garden writer, editor, lecturer, and teacher, and an accomplished horticulturist. Trained in horticulture at Studley College in England, she received her MS in Botany from Kent State University, Ohio. Currently the Horticulture Editor for Country Living Gardener magazine, she has written extensively for horticultural magazines and botanical guidebooks, including several articles for the Brooklyn Botanic Garden's Handbooks. A member of the Corporation for The New York Botanical Garden, she serves on the advisory committee for the School of Professional Horticulture at the New York Botanical Garden and on the education committee for the Horticultural Society of New York.
