Terry Wieland is the shooting editor of Gray’s Sporting Journal, a field editor for Sports Afield, and a frequent contributor to several other magazines, including Shooting Sportsman. He is the author of four books on guns and big-game hunting. Wieland made his first hunting safari in 1990. Since then he has hunted in South Africa, Botswana, Kenya, Tanzania, and Zimbabwe. He usually spends several months each year in Africa.
