Crossfire

B.J. Daniels's life dream was to write books. After a career as an award-winning newspaper journalist, she wrote and sold thirty-seven short stories before she finally wrote her first book. That book, Odd Man Out, went on to be nominated for Best Intrigue for that year. Since then she has won numerous awards, including a career achievement award last year for romantic suspense. This year she has been nominated for another career achievement award for her series work. She has written twenty-eight books to date and is hard at work on her next series, the McCalls of Montana, which begins in September with The Cowgirl in Question. Daniels lives in Montana with her husband, Parker, three springer spaniels, Zoey, Scout and Spot, and a temperamental tomcat named Jeff.
