Coyote Cafe

After pursuing postgraduate studies in anthropology at the University of California, Berkeley, Mark Miller began his professional cooking career behind the line at Chez Panisse in 1976. Since then he has opened restaurants around the country, including the Coyote Cafe in Santa Fe and Las Vegas; Red Sage in Washington, D.C.; and most recently, Wildfire in Sydney, Australia. He has earned numerous awards and accolades, ranging from a coveted Ivy Award to Esquire's naming of Red Sage the 1992 Best New Restaurant of the Year to the 1996 James Beard Award for Best Southwest Chef. The author of nine cookbooks, Miller consults for major food companies, lectures on food history, and teaches cooking classes around the world.
