Color Me Christian

A fifteen-year-old Greek boy joins the Roman Legion. He joins in Athens and must travel alone to Pompeii Fort in the middle of Italy to take his training. He must stay two more weeks after training to learn the Aramaic language, which is spoken in Jerusalem where he is posted. He has a run-in with a sea captain stopping at Athens, who sails away and leaves him behind. When he finally gets to Jerusalem, he helps capture Barrabus. He witnesses the baptism of Jesus. Later, he is "loaned" to Capernaum and witnesses the healing of the Centurion's servant and others. He must participate in the arrest, trial and crucifixion of Jesus.
