A Facilitator’s primary job is to get a group of individuals to form as a team, learn to communicate, and collectively achieve a goal or accomplish a task – i.e., collaboration. Gary inspired many of his students to go beyond what they thought they were capable of. His students have become the leaders of facilitator organizations, leaders of companies, and entrepreneurs. In 2004, Gary became a restaurateur and in an industry notorious for employee problems, because of his collaborative leadership his employees blossomed and grew. When he closed his restaurant, his employees volunteered to work for little or no pay. Through his writing, Gary takes his years of leadership and training experience and puts it together to convey the how to” become effective collaborators.Rush, Gary R. is the author of 'Collaborative Society', published 2007 under ISBN 9780979579905 and ISBN 0979579902.
