Jacques Dupuis, S.J., has been, from 1960 till 1984, professor of systematic theology at the Jesuit-run theological faculty, now Vidyajyoti, Institute of Religious Studies, Delhi. Since 1984 he taught on the faculty of theology of the Pontifical Gregorian University, Rome, of which he is now professor emeritus. He is also Director of the periodical Gregorianum. He is the author of several books and has contributed articles to various international periodicals on Christology, the theology of religions and of mission. Josef Neuner, S.J., is emeritus professor of Jnana-Deepa Vidyapeeth, Institute of Philosophy and Religion, Pune, where he taught theology for forty years. He was a peritus at the Second Vatican Council.
