Alfredo Medio is Professor of Mathematical Economics at the University of Venice. After receiving a Ph.D in Economics from Cambridge University he taught at the New School for Social Research of New York, the University of Dar-es-Salaam, Tanzania and the University of Utah and served as Economic Affairs Officer at UNCTAD, Geneva. Professor Medio is the author of numerous articles published in learned journals and of two books on economic dynamics, both in Italian.
