Jacopo Gelli was a well known author of books on Fencing and dueling. Several of his bibliographies, such as Bibliografia Generale Della Scherma: Con Note Critiche, Biografiche e Storiche and Bibliografia del Duello remain standard works to this day. Reprinted here is a catalogue of the books in Gelli's collection. They comprise that portion of the library devoted to books on fencing. In all, 378 books are described.
