She has published the original abstract of Building Healthy Communities in Environmental Justice Areas (BHCEJA) for the 2002 American Public Health Association Conference in Philadelphia where she gave the first formal peer reviewed presentation on the BHCEJA model. In 2005, the model Building Healthy Communities was passed by the Environmental Justice Advisory Board as a starting place for the Environmentally burdened and Cumulative Disparate Impact subcommittees. She has provided input to the Masry and Vittitoe law firm in the City of Willits vs. Remco Hydraulics case.
