[§§ 2197-2264. Will and Testament 2]The volume comments on the regulations concerning will and testament enforcement (§§ 2197 - 2228 BGB) and on the creation and repeal of a will and testament (§§2229 - 2264 BGB) and considers the numerous published court decisions and literary opinions since the publication of the 13th edition in 1996. The practical importance of will and testament enforcement is becoming more and more important. The revised edition stresses this aspect and highlights amongst other things the importance of tax law related jurisdiction for the inheritance discussion for the will and testament enforcer. The reform of the law of obligations has implications on the will and testament enforcement due to the new regulation of the statute of limitations law, which is also considered in detail. In the §§ 2229 contd. of the BGB there have been amendments due to the jurisdiction of the Federal Constitutional Court for will and testament creation by multiply-disabled people. The OLGVertrÄndG (Higher Regional Court Representation Amendment Law) removed the oral proceedings requirements as a consequence of this decision in the notary testament and in the mayoral testament by amending or partially cancelling §§ 2232 contd. and 2249 BGB plus several legal certification regulations.
