Bridging the Gap: Toward a Personal Relationship with God

A life-long student of comparative religions, Dr. Haigwood is a Navy veteran and a graduate of the University of Colorado. His career has included journalism, motion picture production, Chamber of Commerce executive, public relations consultant, crisis management and ordained minister. He served as Interim Minister for the Earnest Holmes Church of Religious Science, in San Diego, before incorporating the Universal Science Church in 1976. He moved to Sebastopol, California in 1980, and served on various City commissions and Chamber of Commerce committees. He has taught classes in meditation and continues his research on religion and advanced studies with The Consciousness Research and Training Project, Inc. He was President of the Laguna de Santa Rosa Foundation (1996-99) and was named Sebastopol Citizen of the Year in 1998. He was Founder (1987) and Charter President of the Sebastopol Center for the Arts.
