About the Author, BENJY'S NEW HOME is the first published effort of author Bonnie Scherer, stemming from her own close encounter of a personal kind with a rabbit who took up residence in her front yard. A registered nurse & multi-talented mother of two sons, Bonnie & her husband Jered are residents of Billings, Montana. She has inspired & encouraged many people across the nation with her unpublished (as yet) writings on the trials, tribulations & victories of a cancer patient, also stemming from personal experience. A sequel to Benjy's New Home is already in first draft. About the Illustrator, Bill McCracken has "strewn" his work across America in the form of portraits, illustrations & advertising art. A native of South Dakota & a resident of Florida for many years, Bill & his wife Mony now live in Mobile, Alabama where he is employed as a media minister with Alabama's largest church.
