Joyce E. Henry is professor emerita of communication studies and theater at Ursinus College, where she taught Shakespeare at the college level and directed more than fifty plays. An actress, Henry played a variety of Shakespearean roles, including Desdemona, Phoebe, Regan, and even Prospero.
