Background

This book is mainly about my career as an Electrical Engineer, starting from the very beginning and noting some of the experiences that added interest to my life. There are many routes to becoming a consultant and this is only one example. It as been a long slow route but I have savoured every minute of it, and I would recommend it to any youngster who has the desire to become a professional engineer, no matter where or when they start. It is neither possible nor desirable to record the technical career aspects separately from real life situations.
