Authentic Alaska II: Voices of the Far North

Journalists Susan B. Andrews and John Creed are humanities professors at the University of Alaska's Chukchi College in Kotzebue, an arctic community in Northwest Alaska just across the Bering Strait from Russia. Their first book,Authentic Alaska: Voices of Its Native Writers(available in a Bison Books edition), grew out of their cultural journalism project, Chukchi News and Information Service and was the recipient of a Robert F.
