Steve Tomich has been part of the film and video community of the San Francisco Bay Area since 1979. He spent most of his career's first decade developing his skills as a video editor at one of the largest and most innovative post-production facilities in the area, One Pass Film and Video. The next 13 years were spent surfing the technology waves as a nationwide editor-evangelist for Avid Technology. During this time, he honed both his technical and improv skills on panels, in demonstrations, in classes, and on stage at trade shows.
