ABCs of West Coast Gardening

Mary Palmer was born in San Francisco. From there she moved to Seattle, where she and her husband Ed ran a gardening business. She used that experience to become the gardening editor for both the Seattle Post Intelligencer and the Seattle Times. During that time they also purchased Jedediah Island in the Strait of Georgia, where they lived part-time. In 1969, she and her second husband, Albert, began operating the island as a working farm. They retired from the island in 1992 and now live in Nanoose, BCPalmer, Mary is the author of 'ABCs of West Coast Gardening' with ISBN 9781550172539 and ISBN 1550172530.
